Stunning return by Lipstick Flickers

Tue, 04 February, 2020
"tough first up win "
Lipstick Flickers returned to the track in terrific style with a tough win first up for Rob and Todd Harvey at Ascot on Saturday.

She worked over from her gate to sit outside a hot speed set by The Nicconian, a tempo only surpassed in the Listed Scenic Blast Stakes.

When the Nicconian skipped away upon straightening, it looked all over for Lipstick Flickers, who appeared to be running for second place at best, but the tough mare knucked down and nailed the leader on the line for a stunning victory in 1.10.59, just 0.19 outside Cup Nights Scenic Blast time.

She has set herself up for a big campaign with that effort.

Her sister, a 3yo filly by Blackfriars, still has shares available and will be ready to race in a few weeks. Contact us immediately if you are interested.
