"for her third Northam win" Classic Chant has made the Northam track her own this campaign with two impressive victories, the latest by more than 2.5 lengths. She opened her account earlier in the campaign, recording a scintillating time of 1.02.19 for the 1100m and followed up with her easy victory yesterday. She has now won three races, all at Northam. Classic Chant was unlucky at her previous outing, heading to Northam and taken on the entire way to be beaten a half head. She deserved yesterdays win and will now come to Ascot for her next run over 1000m. |
