"Two wins from five starts" Beat the Devil proved his maiden win was no fluke when he led them up at Northam, ran time, and held off the up and coming Arsinoe yesterday. They ran an impressive 1.16.30, some 1.04 seconds quicker than the quickest of the other three 1300m races on the day. Beat the Devil will be kept to the shorter trips at this stage, after stretching out to 1700m last campaign, where he faded badly in the straight. Replay: https://bit.ly/2Q18cmE |
