Blitzem Someday is the latest addition to the Ascot team and will join the stables of Gavin Foster.

Gavin has now had the 5yo son of Natural Blitz for a few weeks and is in the process of giving him a freshen before setting him for a first up race.

Blitzem Somedays form has been just fair in two runs this campaign, the latest finishing 3.75lens from Miki Two Toes over 1200m at Belmont.

Blitzem Someday showed a lot of ability as a 3yo where he was nosed out of the $100,000 Breeders Classic at Bunbury, beating home horses like Ideal Image, Regal Commander and Mississippian.

Its hoped that the rural training facilities of Foster can reinvigorate the 5yo gelding.
