Carillo grinds it out | ||

"First win in WA" Ex Darley gelding Carillo ground it out in the 60-72 mile at Ascot on Wednesday. He disappointed first up at Narrogin, finishing fourth after getting back in an unsuitable position on the bend. He then ran into a white hot Cougar Nights and He Or She before winning at his fourth run in the state. Carillo looked to have gotten the mile journey without too many issues, accounting for the inform stable mate Helder The Painter. |
