| Relents happy owners |
"Half brother of Werd shows his ability"
Just like his half brother Werd, Relent was able to post a good win at his first ever start.
The owners of Relent are hoping this is a good omen as Werd turned into one of the states top sprinters over a career that took him into his 8th year.
Relent, by Statue of Liberty, sat one off the outside fence on Pinjarras 1000m straight course, while the field charged, almost in a single line. Noske still hadnt gone for Relent at the 300m mark and when he drew the whip, Relent found gears to win easily by two lengths.
He will now head to a 1200m at Pinjarra on the 2nd of April.
