Stratcombe joins the team | ||

"Former top class sprinter back in work" Six time winner, Stratcombe, has joined the Ascot Bloodstock team after almost a year off the scene. He will race in the Victorian stables of Brett Scott and is being aimed at the Listed Bel Esprit Stakes at Caulfield on March 22. The horse is not without his problems but has an untold amount of ability. Regular track rider Dale Smith has reported that Stratcombe feels "as good as he ever did" in his work. The 6yo by Stratum won an unoficial jumpout last week at Mornington. |
