"colt born 16th November"
The well performed broodmare La Lollobrigida has now produced a full brother to outstanding youngster Tempestuous Strike (Husson Lightning x La Lollobrigida).
The return to racing for Tempestuous Strike has been keenly awaited by the Ascot Bloodstock team after winning two races as a two year old and three year old before succumbing to a fractured foot.
Damian Winn now has the 4yo back on track and injury free, heading into a trial in just over a week at Bunbury. He will be kept to the shorter sprints this time in, in the hope of keeping stress and strain off his troublesome feet.
The colt born on Saturday is of good size and length. His two half siblings by Musket have been much slower to develop and the two year old colt has not been seen at the track yet, although has had two educational campaigns.
This colt has more chance of running as a two year old as Tempestuous Strike won his first ever race start as a two year old, beating eventual Karrakatta Plate winner, Lukes Luck.
