"winning at Northam" Veeten (Redoute's Choice x She Will Be Loved)won his maiden start in the state for Dan Morton and the Ascot Bloodstock team at Northam on Thursday.Getting back to near last, Veeten stormed down the outside to win easily, accounting for The Cavalieri at 1300m. Purchased from the Patinack Farm disbursal sale earlier in the year, Veeten had won two races and was doing most of his racing in Queensland. He has won up to 1800m and Morton is excited about the prospect of stepping to son of Redoute's Choice up to a mile. |
