"Lonhro colt from Cinquante Cinq" Gangemi Racing have purchased this striking colt by Lonhro from the Inglis Easter Yearling Sales in Sydney. From the Irish mare Cinquante Cinq, it was the athletic look of this colt that struck Justin Bahen from Bahen Bloodstock in Hong Kong, purchasing on behalf of Gangemi Racing. Cinquante Cinq, by Danehill, raced only once but is the half sister to Group 1 and Group 3 winner, Carmine Lake. This is her first foal and most of the owners of Nothing Personal (Lonhro - Tennessee West) have jumped at the opportunity to own another Lonhro colt. Nothing Personal was impressive in his debut, winning with plenty in hand at Pinjarra before finishing last in the Group 2 Karrakatta and spelling. |
