"Winning his maiden easily"
Nothing Personal (Lonhro - Tennessee West) franked Chris Gangemi's faith in his trackwork when leaving his rivals in his wake today at Pinjarra.

The Lonhro gelding was slightly slow away, settling back in last but still on the favoured outside rail.

When the leader Black Truffle, baulked and hit the rail, he inconvenienced Tribal Cat and the backwash was felt by Nothing Personal.

Its fair to say he had the task in front of him half way up the running.

Craig Staples began to ride him along from the 500m and gave him a couple of back handers and all of a sudden, Nothing Personal switched into game mode, powering down the outside rail to win going away from his rivals.

Tribal Cat then protested against Black Truffle for the interference, an objection which was upheld, but didnt affect the winning run of Nothing Personal.

It was a great debut and the connections will now sweat on a run in the Karrakatta Plate in 9 days time.

Currently 28th in the order of entry, there would need to be a near on miracle for him to make it, but the dream still lives!
