Xaardani rewards after long wait | ||

"scores his second win" Xaardani has finally notched his second win after a very long wait for owners. He has been a horse plagued with bad luck, picking up a virus after just one run last campaign. Before that, his previous campaign was riddled with problems, including the "thumps". Xaardani is a very gross horse, so for him to win first up, albeit only at Narrogin, is a pretty decent training effort by Chris Gangemi. He will next go to a 1200m midweek at Ascot next Wednesday. The step up in class may see him slightly short on fitness again, but he should be competitive nonetheless. His replay from Narrogin is below. |
