Xaardani has finally notched his second win after a very long wait for owners.
He has been a horse plagued with bad luck, picking up a virus after just one run last campaign.
Before that, his previous campaign was riddled with problems, including the "thumps".
Xaardani is a very gross horse, so for him to win first up, albeit only at Narrogin, is a pretty decent training effort by Chris Gangemi.
He will next go to a 1200m midweek at Ascot next Wednesday. The step up in class may see him slightly short on fitness again, but he should be competitive nonetheless.
