The ownership experience

This colt is the next generation from our good producing and very well related mare Messenger Miss. He is a half brother to stable star Werd from Hay List's sire.

Werd is now a stakes winner, with his win in the Listed WATC Stakes. He has now amassed almost $500,000 in stakemoney from 39 starts and 10 wins. He is one of WA's top sprinters.

Traditionally Messenger Miss doesnt produce big horses but the remarks from Coolmore where he was foaled down were: "Good size, strength and bone. Nice quality head."

Once he was 6 months old the remarks from the Coolmore farm manager were: "A strong colt with enough size. Precocious two year old type. Nice colour and head, he has a nice action."

He has had three educational campaigns, has been gelded and will have a short spell before resuming for a two year old campaign.

His half brother, Culprit (Elusive Quality - Messenger Miss) has hit the track and shown plenty of ability with two second placings in city company behind Jestpatim and The Rising. Watch him trial below.
