Al Chaparral
"A colt by the nations leading sire and imported from Ireland"
High Chaparral x Dane's Lady

This is a well bred colt by the sire of the past 18 months in High Chaparral. This is one exciting addition to our stables over the past 12 months. He is one of the only colts by his sire in Perth.

High Chaparral needs absolutely no introduction as a stallion. He is the sire of So You Think winner of 2 Cox Plates amongst numerous other Group 1 victories, Descarado the Caulfield Cup winner, Shoot Out the AJC Derby winner and Monaco Consul the VRC Derby winner. What makes the success of these four horses even more amazing is the fact that they all hail from the first southern hemisphere crop of their sire High Chaparral.

High Chaparral was also one of the best horses of his generation. He retired to stud the winner of six Group 1 races, having previously scored in the 2001 Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster, the 2002 Epsom Derby, 2002 Irish Derby, 2002 Breeders Cup Turf at Arlington in Chicago and the 2003 Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown. He never finished unplaced, his other starts resulting in two third placings in the G1 Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe.

This colts dam Dane's Lady is a winning daughter of the mighty Danehill. She is also a half sister to the dam of Miss Beatrix the successful Group 1 winner and earner of over 900,000 pounds. It is also the family of successful sire Indian Ridge.

So hailing from a terrific family and from the sire of the moment this is one exciting young colt.

He has now had two educational preparations and is back in work. Although he is bred on northern hemisphere time, physically he looks like a southern bred two year old.

An outstanding opportunity for someone to buy into a sensationally bred colt by one of the world's leading sires.
