Messenger Miss
"Broodmare bred in the blue and the producer of Werd"
Danehill - Foreign Courier

Ascot Bloodstock and Gangemi racing purchased Messenger Miss, the dam of current stable star Werd.

Messenger Miss (Danehill - Foreign Courier) was purchased in foal to Elusive Quality, who stood at Darley in 2008 for a service fee of $82,500.

That mating produced Culprit, a dual trial winner and half brother to Werd.

She then produced a lovely looking colt by Statue of Liberty, raised at Coolmore and flown to Perth as a yearling.

Messenger Miss is now in foal to High Chapparal after slipping last year.

Messenger Miss is bred in the blue, being a three quarter sister to the successful Danzig sire Green Desert. Green Desert is making a name for himself as a sire of sires. He is the sire of current leading New Zealand sire Volksraad and top UK sire in Invincible Spirit who stands for 75,000 euro. Green Desert is also the sire of Desert Sun, who in turn is the sire of sensational race mare and one of the greatest horses to ever race in Australia in Sunline. Sunline won 32 races, 28 of those which were at Group or Listed level.
