Vain Rancher was a top line race horse who was retired during his prime. He was already produced the multiple stakes winner and very tough race horse in Bumbelina. Bumbelina was the winner of the Group 3 Easter Stakes and the Listed Cyril Flower Stakes.

Vain Rancher has also produced the city winners Scopaciri, Casper Cowboy, Ranchers Boy and Spirit of Bunbury who now stands at stud.

This geldings dam is the nine times winner in Bradbury Lines. She was a winner from 1200m right up to 2200m and won over $150,000 in prize money. She won the Northam Gold Cup and was a multiple city winner. Bradbury Lines had been very unlucky with this being only her third foal from nine times to stud.

Her first foal was a trial winner who never raced and this geldings half brother is Kilindini, who returned to the track last winter to monster his rivals at Belmont Park by 7.5 lengths.

This tall gelding has a lovely body, correct legs and a great will to learn and please. He will furnish into a fantastic looking horse who will only improves as he matures.

Vain Crusher has trialed three times for three placings. His first campaign was interrupted by changing stables and he demonstrated that he was just too immature as an early three year old.

After a long spell at Heytesbury, he resumed for Ben Pearce and failed in the midweeks at Belmont. He has subsequently been leased to Angela Smith to continue his racing on the Albany / Mt Barker circuit and a possible Broome campaign next year.
